ME
Empowering Individuals for Success
Sport has always been part of Freya's life, as a state champion rower and national level hurdler in her teens, Freya loved the training environment and thrill of competition. But it was through coaching others, that Freya found greater fulfilment and hinted toward the career pursuit that would follow. In becoming a Psychologist, Freya chose to focus on organisational psychology to contribute to the evolution of workplaces and improve the everyday experience at scale. However, it was the one-to-one leadership coaching, career transition and development work where Freya flourished.

Having worked on global programmes and organisation-level change with senior executives, prioritising working with individuals to enhance their performance, was not a difficult decision for Freya. "Early in my career I thought that one-on-one coaching was self-indulgent of me - I loved it but felt like I could help so many more people by transforming entire organisations. While there may be some truth to that, the biggest challenge when working on these projects, was often individual leaders. I've seen first hand the impact that a self-aware leader who is connected to their values, and knows how to translate this through their actions, can have on entire businesses. The same goes for athletes who have astonishing potential, but don't yet have their mindset mastered, and it's incredibly rewarding to witness the realisation of that potential, once they've hooked into this element of their performance."

It's not our role titles, accomplishments or status that define how we perform, it's our humanity. We all have fears, pressure, expectations and judgement that can get in the way of delivering our best performance in any given moment. Freya is committed to helping her clients understand their own mindset, and using evidence-based practices, to help access their best performance.
